Welcome to the web SITE MAP for www.CostaRicaSurfReport.org (aka www.CRSurfReport.com). This site
has been up and running a few years but is always under construction and things are always changing.
The site was built using mostly PHP with embedded HTML and some Javascript. The majority of the pages
reference information located in a MYSql database and will not display correctly without this connection
or when loaded offline.
MAIN PAGES
index.php - Home Page - Our home page displays a number of dynamically accessed
data modules including 'Today's Surf Report', 'Yesterday's Surf Report', 'Pic of the Day', a site message
board and a feed from MagicSeaweed dot com that delivers a 'Surf Forecast'.
Surf Breaks - Access our Costa Rica surf break database directly through
this page. On the left hand side of the page is an alphabetical listing of 50 popular surf breaks - click on
each break for details. The right side of the page starts as a map of Costa Rica divided into 4 surf regions:
The Northern Pacific, the Central Pacific, the Southern Pacific and the Caribbean. Click on each of the shaded
regions to see a surf break map for that area.
Surf Reports - Surf Reports are a big feature of this web site and this page is
the main page to see all the reports that have been posted for the day - and yesterday. A new feature called
'Epic Day Reports' will be activated soon. The Surf Report Archive has been added to list a count of all
photos and surf reports listed in the database - see that page for more information.
Surf Forecasting - Surf Forecasting is better left to the government and experts.
Our Surf Forecasting page features links to the most popular tools used to predict when your local break
will be going off. We also offer a short explanation of each of the main tools (WAM, buoys etc) and how
they are used to estimate the size, quality and timing of a swell.
Bikini of the Week - The Bikini of the Week is just a page for everyone who likes
photos of girls in bikinis. Costa Rica is a great place to do bikini watching or have your bikini watched
during the day on the beach or at night in the clubs.
The Surf Report Archive Directory - Surf Reports, Photos and direct links to Maps
and Travel Information for each break in our database A-Z. The Archive Directory also has links to the Bikini
of the Week photo archive and the Pic of the Day photo archive. Virtually all information in our database can
be accessed from the links on this page.
